Dear Stoke on Trent City Council,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the number of bus lane penalty charge notices (contravention code 34) issued in Stoke-on-Trent for the 2018/19 financial year. I would like to request both the number of bus lane PCNs issued, as well as the revenue generated from these during this period.

Your request for information ref. SOT86548

 

Thank you for your request for information about penalty charge notices
issued in relation to bus lanes.  Your request was received by the
Information Rights Team on 13 February 2020.  This is being dealt with
under the terms of the appropriate Information Rights legislation.

 

In some circumstances we may charge for information.  If there is a charge
we will let you know, as you will be required to pay this before we deal
with your request.

Request: Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to
request the number of bus lane penalty charge notices (contravention code
34) issued in Stoke-on-Trent for the 2018/19 financial year. I would like
to request both the number of bus lane PCNs issued, as well as the revenue
generated from these during this period.

 

Response: 23,369 penalties were issued to vehicles driving through bus
lanes in 2018/2019. Revenue £446,281
