Statistics for Marginally Missed Offer Conditions (BSc Management)

The request was successful.

Dear London School of Economics,

Under the FOI act, I request the following information:

For BSc Management (N200) 2017/18 entry:
1) How many students marginally failed the conditions of their offer (i.e. by one grade or one point)?

2) Of those who marginally failed their entry conditions, what grades did they achieve in their final examinations?

3) Of those who marginally failed their entry conditions, how many were given a place on the course and what grades did they achieve?

Information on these three points would be appreciated for prior years if possible.

Yours faithfully,

Sparsh Sharma

Dear Sparsh,

Colleagues have asked for clarification on the following points:

Is the data required for Home/EU, Overseas or both?

How many years data is required (the request asks for 'prior years' but does not specify how many)?

Once we've had your clarification, we can continue to process your requests.

Dear Rachael,

Thank you for the response.

I'm looking for Home/EU data across the period of 2015-2018.

I hope this clarifies everything.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Sparsh.

I've had a further request for clarification from colleagues relating to qualifications. Could you confirm it you want the data for A-Levels only? And if not, which additional qualifications do you want the data for?

On receipt of your clarification, we will further process your request.

Regards,
Rachael
