Dear Miss Russell and Hampshire Police Monitoring Group

Thank you for your email below. I note that we asked for clarification of your original request and received your response on 19 April 2018. Under normal circumstances this would mean that the 20 working day deadline, as prescribed by the Freedom of Information Act 2000, would begin from the date that we received clarification, making the new deadline 17 May 2018. Our records were updated accordingly and it was to this deadline that we were working.

However having now reviewed all the correspondence relating to this request, we note that you had already provided all of the information necessary in your email of 7 April, therefore the original deadline of 4 May 2018 should have been complied with. It seems that the first sentence of your request, which included the timescale, was not read properly. The request for clarification and the subsequent revision of the deadline was therefore an oversight, for which we apologise.

Our response to your request for information is attached.

Once again may we apologise for the oversight and for the delay in providing you with this response.

Yours sincerely

I have found the Internal Investigations Unit (IIU)- just like the IOPC/IPCC - to be corrupt in all of my dealings with them.

The IOPC/IPCC have protected corrupt cops at each / every stage when dealing with me, my cases since 2006. Evidence of police corruption, from the top down, has been ignored by IOPC/IPCC (one and same) just so police officers could be protected.

Each / every complaint I have made to IIU was ignored, never properly investigated or whitewashed.

The IOPC/IPCC is on life-support.
