Dear Mr Walker,
Please find below Sunderland College's response to your Freedom of Information request. The data has had to be anonymised for data protection purposes.
1. I've taken the number of staff employed in 2015 to mean the number of current staff + the number of staff who left in 2015 which is 602 (current staff) + 88 (leavers since 01/01/15) = 690 staff.
2. For the 602 current staff an estimate of the total annual salary bill (salary only excluding on-costs of employer’s pension and NI) is £15,295,450.68 gross.
3. There are 12 staff whose annual salary is between £50,000 & £70,000.
4. There are 3 staff whose annual salary is greater than £70,000.
5. 1 x Senior Management Team - £83,400.75, 1 x Senior Management Team - £93,572.46, Principal - £140,000.00.
6. 1 x Senior Management Team - £80,000, Principal - £135,518, 1 x Senior Management Team - £88,938, 1 x Senior Management Team - £95,793, 1 x Senior Management Team - £70,000.
7. Senior Management Team Honoraria £6,250 Dec 2012, 1 x Senior Management Team Honoraria £10,416.67 Dec 2012
8. No benefits that I know of
