St Ives BID baseline services

VisitEngland did not have the information requested.

Calder Harris Ltd

Dear VisitEngland,

I understand that the St Ives Business Improvement District has sought to "baseline" (agree upon and codify a minimum service level) the services provided by Authorities in the town. These services included closed circuit television, community safety, graffiti and fly posting, public conveniences, street cleansing, waste collection and management, planning, licensing and enforcement, events and marketing, highways maintenance, street lighting, grounds maintenance and policing.

Please state the Baseline services provided by Visit England in marketing Cornwall and St Ives, both nationally and internationally.

I'd also like to request copies of any of the original baseline documents drawn up alongside the St Ives BID, along with any subsequent documents which amend, build upon or replace them.

In addition, would you be able to advise whether you or your predecessors have entered into any other agreements with the BID company, and what the status of such agreements is today?

Yours faithfully,

Calder Harris Ltd

Dear Sir or Madam

VisitBritain and VisitEngland are both trading names of the British Tourist Authority.

We do not have a baseline, or service level, agreement with the St Ives BID (or any other local authority or BID) nor do we have an agreement of any kind with the St Ives bid.

The British Tourist Authority has been in existence since 1969 so has no relevant predecessors.

Regards
Ros Carey
Secretary to the Board
