Sport Resilience Fund and Sport and Leisure Recovery Fund
Dear Sports Wales / Cyngor Chwaraeon Cymru,
In relation to the £8m Sport Resilience Fund announced in April 2020 and the £14m Sport and Leisure Recovery Fund announced in September 2020 to support sports clubs during the pandemic, please provide a breakdown of how much funding was provided to rugby and rugby clubs.
Please also provide information relating to how gender participation and access was used to consider allocation of the two funding programmes, and whether these criteria were taken into account when providing support for rugby and rugby clubs.
Please provide an overall figure for how the two funds benefit women’s participation in sport, and to what extent women’s rugby benefited from the two funds.
Yours faithfully,
RP
