Dear Official Solicitor,
Sovereignty of the UK Government ?

Under the FOIA I wish to know from whence the government obtains its authority ?

The principles upon which the government is supposed to rest and are constrained ?

Is Sovereignty itself subject to law or is it the source of the law ?

If sovereign powers are delegated to the agencies of government, does not the sovereignty itself remains with the people, by whom and for whom all government exists and acts ?

Yours faithfully,

Mr. Lewis
