during the past 10 years. Please show income for each year.”

The right under the Freedom of Information Act to request official

The Authority confirms that it holds the information requested.

2.         Disclosure

Income from Solva car park, excluding VAT was £46,403 in 2012, £54,192 in
2011, £22,648 in 2010 and £13,850 in 2009.  No income was received before
then.   Please note that the charging period was much shorter in 2009 and
2010.

Information on all the costs is not recorded specifically for individual
sites and car parks, so it is not possible to give a precise amount.
However, the main costs are salary for the car park attendants, which was
about £11,000 for each of the last two years, and rates are £2,260.  In
addition there is routine maintenance, litter clearance, white lining,
signs, surface repairs, etc, which will vary from year to year but is
typically between £3,000 and £7,000.

There is currently a complete refurbishment of the car park nearing
completion with costs of about £170,000, part funded through EU grants.
