Thank you for your email dated 21st March 2014 received in our office on 21st March 2014 concerning IT Solutions.

I enclose for your attention, the following information:

• Who provides your IT social services solution for your Adults department?

Our main system in Adults is SWIFT, which is supplied by Northgate.

• What is the cost of the associated contract?

The annual maintenance fee is £53939.

• When is this contract due to expire?

The contract is renewed on a yearly basis, so is due for renewal in April 2015.

• Who provides your IT social services solution for your Children’s department?

The main system that we use in Children Services is Capita One. This is provided by the Capita Partnership.

• What is the cost of the associated contract?

As the product is delivered via the Capita Partnership, it is considered that the total system costs are commercially sensitive. As such we are unable to release specific costs.

• When is this contract due to expire?

IT Infrastructure is managed on behalf of the Council as part of a wider Partnership Contract with Capita Business Services Limited which provides a full range of business (including HR, Payroll, Revenues and Benefits, Customer Services, Administration) and IT Services. The total Partnership contract value is £273m over 15 years (8 years remaining).

• What do you use for your resource allocation system? (Is it in-house or some other system?)
