I refer to your request for information which was dealt with in terms of
the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA).

 

What is the number of sexual offences committed by school pupils targeting
teachers/members of staff? Please can you provide the ages of the pupils
and teachers involved.

2014-2015: Nil

2015-2016: Nil

2016-2017: Nil

 

What is the number of sexual offences by school pupils targeting their
peers on school grounds? Please can you provide the ages of the pupils
involved.

2014-2015: Nil

2015-2016: Nil

2016-2017: 3 incidents within the secondary sector, which were all
reported to the police. 

1: Sharing intimate photos of self by private message (13 yrs)

2. Request to another pupil to share indecent images of self by message
(15 yrs)

3. Alleged physical sexual assault (14 yrs)
