In each of the last 3 years  (2015, 2016 and 2017 to date) How many
appeals were registered with the Special Educational Needs Tribunal for
Wales (SENTW) against Ceredigion Council decisions affecting children.

Please break this down by the nature of appeal, such as refusal to assess
a child or refusal to statement etc.

Please then state the outcomes as "upheld in full", "upheld in part" or
"dismissed" etc.

How much has it cost Ceredigion Council to fight these appeals. Please
provide figures in cash terms. Please also provide figures for staff hours
and other resources.

The costs detailed below are for obtaining barrister advice, including
written, oral and representation at tribunal.  The figures below represent
the fees paid during each year as opposed to the year in which the work
was carried out.  For example, if work was carried out in December but the
invoice only received in January of the following year, the amount would
be reflected in the figure for the following year.

2016: £2,624.04

2015: £0

2014: £6,048.00

We do not hold information relating to staff hours and other resources. 

If Ceredigion Council do not account for staff hours, costs and in house
legal advice used to fight these appeals, please explain why not.

This is within the roles and responsibilities of staff employed by the
local authority.
