Dear Ms Kaye
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - School Clusters

Thank you for your request for information which I acknowledge was
received by the County Council on 16th October 2012. Your request is
currently being considered. If the County Council is able to provide you
with the information you have requested, then under the Freedom of
Information Act you are entitled to receive it within 20 working days. For
your information, the FOI Act defines a number of exemptions which may
prevent release of some or all of the information you have requested. The
County Council will assess your information request in light of the

The County Council will not ordinarily charge a fee to provide you with
the information you have requested, provided the cost of dealing with your
request is less than £450. If it appears likely that it would cost more
than this to comply with your request then I will write to you informing
you of this. We will then work with you to try and bring your request
under this limit and where possible provide you with some of the
information you have requested.

If you have any queries or should you wish to make a complaint about the
manner in which your request is being dealt with then please do not
hesitate to contact me at the above address in the first instance. Any

Dear Ms Kaye
The information you have requested is attached below:

Number of cluster's and or federations in the authority.
Which schools are in each cluster/federation.
Primary schools in Warwickshire are organised into Professional Learning
Communities (PLCs). There are 26 PLCs in total within Warwickshire and
these are made up of mainly primary, infant and junior schools. Attached
is a list of all 26 PLCs and the schools that make them up. This is
accurate as of 31 July 2012.

Secondary schools are split into four groups according to their area
within the county. Those secondary schools who are members of a PLC are
also members of their Area Secondary Headteachers (ASH) group. Attached is
a list of the schools in each area.

The name of the cluster or federation lead and the name of the school in
which they work.

Please see attached for:
·        a list of the chairs for each PLC and their contact details
·        a list of the chairs for each Area Secondary Heads (ASH) group
and their contact details.

You have the right to request that the County Council carry out an
internal review if you are not satisfied with the way your request was
dealt with or wish to appeal the decision.  A request for an internal
review should be made in writing and addressed to me at the address above.
All requests for an internal review will be dealt with under the County
Council’s internal review procedure.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review you may
appeal to the Information Commissioner’s Office, at the following address:
