Dear Mr Brunneye,

Thank you for your recently submitted Freedom of Information Request.

I am now able to provide you with the information supplied by the relevant
department, as follows:

In relation to the two places allocated on the dates below

27.05.2016   &   01.06.2016

1/ What category (in relation to the oversubscription criteria) did those
allocations fall into ?

27.05.16 place allocated to a child whose application had been considered
under special circumstances as outlined in NCC’s determined admission
arrangements 2016/17

2.1.6    Special consideration

There may be very rare circumstances in which evidence can be provided
from a doctor, social worker or other relevant professional to demonstrate
that there is only one school that can meet a child’s needs.
Nottinghamshire County Council will consider applications for community
and voluntary controlled schools where the application can be supported by
written evidence from a doctor, social worker or relevant professional
demonstrating why a particular school is the only school which could cater
for the child’s particular needs.   The evidence must be presented at the
time of application.

The appropriate designated officers will consider each case and determine
the allocation of any such place on the basis of written evidence.  Where
it is agreed that a particular school is the only school that could meet a
child’s needs, the application will have priority following the allocation
of looked after and previously looked after children.

01.06.16 place allocated criterion 3 (catchment area)

2/What distances of each from the school.

The council is withholding this information under s40(2) of the Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA). This section of the FOIA prevents disclosure of
personal information relating to third parties in line with the principles
of the Data Protection Act.  The council are withholding this information
on that basis that it may lead to identifying an individual.

Could you please also inform me

3/ How many out- catchment applicants had siblings at the school ,

indicated a sibling link.
