SBC usage the Selkirk common good fund

Dear Scottish Borders Council.

I hear by make an official request under the Freedom Of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 of our sovereign lady HM.Queen Elizabeth II.

A) How many requests to Scottish Borders Council have been made under HM Freedom Of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, including this one.

B) How many of these request have been made that pertain to The Royal Burgh Of Selkirk ?

C) How many of the Selkirk pertaining requests were paid for using the burgh's common good fund ?

D) How much money in pounds sterling and pence was used from the burgh's common goods fund to pay for these requests ?

E) If it be that requests were paid for from Selkirk's common good fund, dose the council hold any information that would confirm such usage of money is lawful ?

Dear Mr MacLean

Further to your request for information under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 relating to the above I am now able to respond.

(a) I can confirm that as of today's date 3,556 requests have been
made under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

(b) Twenty-one of those requests pertain to the Royal Burgh of
Selkirk.

(c) No requests were paid for using the Burgh's Common Good Fund.

(d) As the Council did not use any monies from the Common Good Fund
I am unable to provide you with an answer to this request.

(e) Again, the Council did not use any funds from the Selkirk
Common Good Fund and am therefore unable to supply any information on
this.

I hope you are happy with the information provided but have to advise that
you have a right to request a review within 40 working days of receipt of

to the Data Compliance Officer, Scottish Borders Council, Council HQ,
Newtown St.Boswells TD6 0SA.

If after the Council's FOI Advice Group have considered your review and
