Thank you for your email. I work for the Fisheries team covering
Hertfordshire and North London.

 

To the best of my knowledge no fish were removed from Savay in relation to
HS2, as we have not received any applications for a permit to carry out
such a removal.

 

I understand Savay Lake continues to be run as an exclusive syndicate
water.

HS2 are currently pile driving constructing a haul road across Savay Lake
in the Colne Valley.  Savay Lake was a renowned Carp fishery.  What
happened to the fish in the lake?
