Salaries and fees

We're waiting for Alexandra Tieghi to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear University of Dundee,

I request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

1) Breakdown of expected salaries, or average salaries for graduates from undergraduate degrees in years 2008/2009 to 2013/2014 included, by subject. If average salaries for recent EU (non-UK) or international (non-EU) graduates are available, I would like those to be shared as well.

2) Tuition fees charged to first-year international students for undergraduate degrees in years 2008/2009 to 2013/2014 included, broken down by subject.

Yours faithfully,

Alexandra Tieghi

Dear Alexandra,

Thank you for your request for information from the University of Dundee. Concerning graduate prospects, the Higher Education Statistics Agency collect this information each year as part of the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey. They make much of that information available via the Unistats website - https://unistats.ac.uk/ - and on their own website - https://www.hesa.ac.uk/data-and-analysis.... They also offer a custom data service - https://www.hesa.ac.uk/services/custom/d... - which has the advantage of providing you with information generated on a like-for-like basis between institutions.

For completeness, I note that the University considers this information to be reasonably accessible without recourse to the Freedom of Information (Scotland) and therefore exempt from disclosure per S.16 and S.25 of that Act. The University is not required to have regard to the public interest in the application of this exemption.

Concerning tuition fees, colleagues in the University’s Registry provide the data attached.

I trust that this information is helpful. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Kind regards,

Alan
