Of the 1,941 businesses in South Lanarkshire that received a Rateable Valuation in 2010 that was less than the previous valuation for that business, can you confirm:

How many of these businesses were public houses?

How many of them were in the G72 postcode area?

How many of them received a lower valuation as a result of an appeal against the original valuation by the assessor in 2010?

had a reduced rateable value at 1 April 2010, 7 of these businesses were
public houses.

Thank you for the reply and your help in this regard. If I can trouble you for one further piece of information: Can you confirm the 7 public houses that received a reduction of Rateable Value in the G72 postcode area and highlight in which of these cases an appeal led to a drop in valuation?

The 7 public houses in the G72 area that had a reduced rateable value at 1 April 2010 are:

The County Inn, 1 Burn Place,Cambuslang G72 7DS
Sweepers, 9 Somervell Street, Cambuslang G72 7EB
The Clock Inn, 92 Main Street, Cambuslang G72 7EJ
The Cambus, 77 Main Street, Cambuslang G72 7HD
The Tudor Inn, 242 Hamilton Road, Cambuslang G72 7PF
The Village Inn, 205 Westburn Road, Cambuslang G72 7TB
The Lawburn Inn, 194 Western Road, Cambuslang G72 8PE

As stated before, these were the values as they existed on 1 April 2010 and they were all as a result of the revised assessment by the Lanarkshire Valuation Joint Board on that date. None of them had lower rateable values as the result of appeal.
