Rural Gigabit Scheme (FTTP)

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport,

Regarding the rural gigabit scheme, where Fibrus, Fibrus Networks were providing a service in Rural NI.

Can you advise if it was a breach of scheme for VAT to be paid by the company((Fibrus B4B GROUP and or associated companies and not the Sole Trader.

Out of the Rural Gigabit Scheme what success rate has there been in the 14 towns in Rural NI?

Is the scheme, functioning as promised, are the speeds achieved. What percental of the customers actually pay for the service? The voucher scheme appears to be very specific on this.

How may taxpayers complaints has there been made about the speeds which in many cases were lower than they were receiving through OpenReach

Yours faithfully,

John Vernon
