Royal Mail Payments To DVLA

The request was successful.

Dear Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency,

The subjects of compensation paid by the DVLA are noted in previous foi responses as:
“Primary reason (but not limited to)”.
Primary reasons include:
“Return docs undelivered by royal mail*”
“Sent to incorrect address/person”
“Special delivery return envelope not used”
DVLA states that:
“DVLA get some payments back from Royal Mail as compensation for being lost in their care.”
I understand the DVLA retains data for 5 years.

Please provide the amounts, and relevant dates, of payments that were received from Royal Mail within that (5 year) timeframe.

If the request for information pertinent to the period referred to above exceeds cost compliance, please provide the most recent, and preceding data, within the fullest date range that does not exceed cost compliance.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Clark
