Route 113s new buses

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear London Buses Limited,

I was just wondering why the route is getting new buses which have a short length and not being retained with existing Enviro Hybrids however is a frequency increase planned or are extra buses going to be used

Yours faithfully,

Thomas

Hi Thomas

Thank you for contacting us on 10 August about changes to route 113.

I’ve looked into this for you and can confirm that route 113 has not yet
been tendered and the contract is still up for bidding. The current
contract started in April 2017 and is due to run until at least April
2022.

As it stands, route 113 uses Euro 5 Hybrid double decker vehicles and
isn’t due to change in line with the route changes coming into place.
Vehicles only tend to be changed when there are contract renewals.

As far as we’re aware there are no plans to change the vehicles on route
113, this has been confirmed with the contracting manager.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please reply to this
email. Alternatively, you can call us on 0343 222 1234 and we'll be happy
to help you.

I hope this information has been helpful.

Have a lovely day.

Kind regards
