Mr Street

If you were to actually able to spell very simple words correctly, perhaps you would be taken more seriously. Defra have responded with an adequate reply, they have better things to do than try and decipher your poorly written requests.

Alex Skene left an annotation ()

Irrespective of the spelling, DEFRA have not responded with a proper refusal notice as required by the FOI Act, and in line with the ICO guidance.

- they have not specified which exemption of the FOI Act applies as required by s17(1)(b)
- they have not treated the complaint of non-supply of information as a valid request for an internal review as required by the s45 Code of Practice.
- they have not offered assistance or guidance to the requester as required by s16.

SORRY if my speling is not up to your standerd but i realy dont care wot you think

TJRR i think the best thing for you to do is not read my post as i might not be the best at spelling but i know wot i am talking about unlike you as another member has had to put you right

ON the warrant RODGER CATON claimed to be working for defra on that raid ,is it true there is a different department for Scotland so some one working for defra in england would have to be registered bi Scotland

Roger Caton was a Wildlife Inspector for DEFRA.

However, his role was drastically reduced - I believe that DEFRA, whilst not dispensing with his services, reduced his involvement to only one or two cases per year.

His tendency to produce his DEFRA accreditation whilst attending an RSPCA raid as paid RSPCA Witness is of questionable legality. I believe that his use of DEFRA status whilst being oaid by the RSPCA is, in fact, illegal!

Of interest, several years ago, at The Wildlife Crime officers 'convention' held at Edinburgh, Caton attended under a DEFRA 'ticket' but spent the entire time with the RSPCA SOU contingent!

Caton's 'expertise' as an RSPCA Expert Witness is very questionable - since he has only kept, it is thought, 12 species of native birds!
