Dear Information Governance,

Please kindly provide a copy of the risk assessments carried out specifically for mandatory volunteer courses for volunteers operating in your Community Learning and Skills Team.

Definition of 'volunteer': A person who donates his/her time or efforts for a cause or organization without being paid. A person who works in a soup kitchen for free is an example of a volunteer. A council would have volunteers in various roles such as cleaning the streets, helping in museums, providing computer tuition or other activities in libraries (all without payment).

Definition of 'risk assessment': A risk assessment is a systematic process of evaluating the potential risks that may be involved in a projected activity or undertaking.

Yours sincerely,

Lee Jefferson
