Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act), we have 20 working
days to respond to a request for information unless we are considering

I am sorry to inform you that we have not been able to complete our
response to your request by the date originally stated, as we are
currently responding to an unprecidented demand in Freedom of Information
requests. We are still researching and collating the information you have
requested and as a result we will not be able to respond within 20 working

I can now advise you that the amended date for a response is 15th
September 2011

Commissioner within the MPS.

On 31st August 2011 Mr Yates will have achieved 30 years
service with the police service.

Mr Yates will be entitled to his accrued pension entitlements.
