Resuscitation Training Services

Roedd y cais yn llwyddiannus.

Dear Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust,

I have been requested by my Trust to benchmark our Resuscitation Services team and responsibilities against that of other hospitals within the North West.

I would appreciate the following information:

1. Number of band 6 trainers within the team (FTE)?

2. Number and banding of administrative support within the team (FT)?, if shared administration with i.e. clinical skills, how many hours a week are for resuscitation training team?

3. Number and banding of other training staff within the team (FTE)?

4. Banding for lead Resuscitation Officer (team leader)?

5. How many APLS, ALS, ATLS, FAMUS, NLS and GIC courses do you run annually?

6. How many ILS, pILS, PLS (or equivalent) do you run annually?

7. Do you run any other types of training (i.e. ECG Rhythm Recognition, first aid, anaphylaxis, PROMPT)?

8. Are you responsible for any audits (collection and action), if so how many and what for?

9. Do you have an equipment technician (or similar) to maintain, repair kit and/or help set up for courses?

Yours faithfully,

Anne Ellis
