Tim Wynne Evans

Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,

During the period mentioned an enquiry was undertaken by Mary Fiisk a senior officer within the U.N. following reported activity from within the UNTAET (United NationsTransitional Administration In East Timor)concerning the SCIU
The Australian Press were involved in the issues and media articles were printed. Allegations of a seriously failing management, a failure to cooperate with Human Rights administration and investigators from within the unit rendering the purpose of investigations ineffectual. A failure to pursue the crimes committed by Indonesia which was in fact the intended role of the unit. I was interviewed by Mary Fisk in March 2001. My resignation was the result of the matter and I do not know nor can locate a report of the outcome. Was this investigation completed and was there a resolution?
I would be very grateful to know what was the conclusion please.

Yours faithfully,
Tim Wynne Evans
