Restrictions on the sale of Saveaway tickets at railway stations.

Merseytravel did not have the information requested.

Dear Merseytravel,

could you please provide me with the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:
1) In the past two years, has Merseytravel imposed any new restrictions on sale of Saveaway tickets at National Rail ticket offices or onboard National Rail trains? An example of this would be an instruction that the tickets should not be sold at stations or on trains outside the Merseyside area of validity.
2) If any such restrictions have been imposed, could you please provide me with copies of the following documents-
a) Communications from Merseytravel to Train Operating Companies/Network Rail/Transport Focus/Department for Transport, informing them of the new restrictions and/or the reasons for their introduction.
b) Copies of any internal Merseytravel communications (e.g. emails or memos) discussing the reasons for and impact of the new restrictions.

Many thanks.

Yours faithfully,

H Samuel
