Response to a voice note message
Dear South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,
On the 8th April South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust released a statement on twitter that stated "We are aware of a voice message being shared currently on social media regarding the ambulance response to coronavirus. The alarmist information being shared in the message is not correct. We would urge people to disregard the message and not share it further."
Please could you provide details on the actions taken from yourselves regarding this message within the first 24 hours?
Please can you confirm if any meetings between yourselves and Public Health England had taken place in the 48 hours prior to the release of this message?
Can you confirm if a member of staff from the trust was the origin of this voice message and if any action has been taken regarding this?
Yours faithfully,
