MY FOI request related to residential bin collections across the borough.
My specific questions are:

1. For the period of Jan-Dec 2014:
What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically emptied residential bins?
What was the total number of bins emptied?
How many vehicles were allocated to empty bins?
How many bin collections were reported as missed?
After investigation, what was the reason given for the missed bin collection?

2. 1. For the period of Jan-Dec 2015 & 2016:
What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically emptied residential bins?
What was the total number of bins emptied?
How many vehicles were allocated to empty bins?
How many bin collections were reported as missed?
After investigation, what was the reason given for the missed bin collection?

3.1. For the period of Jan-available data 2017:
What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically emptied residential bins?

1.            For the period of Jan-Dec 2014:

What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically
emptied residential bins? We do not hold this information

What was the total number of bins emptied? We do not hold this information

How many vehicles were allocated to empty bins? We do not hold this

How many bin collections were reported as missed? Jan – Dec 2014 – 5,502

After investigation, what was the reason given for the missed bin
collection? We do not hold this information

 

2. For the period of Jan-Dec 2015 & 2016:

What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically
emptied residential bins?

For 4th July 2015 - Dec 2015 – 78 staff.

For Jan 2016 – Dec 2016 – 75 staff

What was the total number of bins emptied?

April 15 to Mar 16 approximately 10,097,360

April 16 to Mar 17 approximately 10,130,640

How many vehicles were allocated to empty bins? 2015 – 26, 2016 - 25

How many bin collections were reported as missed?

Jan 15 – Nov 15 – 4,149

Nov 15 to Dec 15 – 975

Jan 16 to Dec 16 - 7882

After investigation, what was the reason given for the missed bin
collection? We only record the outcome of the return for a missed bin
rather than why the bin was missed initially.

 

3. For the period of Jan-available data 2017:

What was the total number of waste management staff who specifically
emptied residential bins? 75

What was the total number of bins emptied? April 17 to 6^th Oct 2017 –
5,288,760

How many vehicles were allocated to empty bins? 25

How many bin collections were reported as missed? Jan 17 to Sept 17 - 9045

After investigation, what was the reason given for the missed bin
collection? We only record the outcome of the return for a missed bin
rather than why the bin was missed initially.
