Requests for information
Dear Rhondda Cynon Taff Council,
Regrettably, it is apparent the RCT is failing to comply with its obligations and duties as required by statute law contained in the Environment Protection Act 1990(as amended.
RCT is failing to ensure that the area within its jurisdiction is as litter free as prescribed, simply as litter collection is not as efficiently executed, as is required by law.
Next, RCT is purposely endangering human health, possibly life, and undoubtedly the natural environment, through its negative approach to professionally managing, controlling and eliminating, identified and non-identifiable toxins and the pollutionary effects of illegal toxic waste dumping at Brofiscin Quarry.
Therefore, under the Freedom of Information Act I want to know why, and under what authority, does Mr Andrew Wilkins, the Solicitor, on behalf of the Director of Legal and Democratic Services, Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough
Council refuse to answer further questions put via this medium, which becomes a matter of record within the public domain?
Secondly, under the FOI Act, I want a record of the qualifications and salaries of all staff employed by RCT in the Environment, Planning and Waste.(Environment Protection Department).
Yours faithfully,
David Brook-Thomas

This is the note that you sent me, and however I look at it, it conveys the same message:

Furthermore, please be advised that all Freedom of information requests made to Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, by myself, are thoroughly well research, checked and rechecked before submission, and therefor absolutely legitimate.
I should point out to you that if Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council was as diligent in the performance of its public duties, as the law requires them to so be, then there would be no need for such Freedom of information requests to be made.
Finally, I would again formally remind you that Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council is still purposely causing grave environment damage and potential injury to human health given the unqualified, unquantified toxin releases from Brofiscin Quarry.
Yours sincerely,
David Brook-Thomas
