Requesting my GSCE Records from 1996

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Wellington School, Altrincham should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Wellington School, Altrincham,

I would be grateful if you could provide data on GCSE results from 1990/91 to 1995/96, broken down by school, subject, and grade awarded.

Specifically, I would be grateful if you could include the following fields:
- School name
- URN
- year 1990/91 to 1995/96
- number of students entered (for each subject)
- number of students awarded each grade (for each subject)
(In particular, I am looking for the number of entrants and grades awarded, rather than the % pass rate, as is more commonly published.)

I realize that this will be a large amount of data(!), so I would be more than happy to discuss my request, and accommodate any changes that will make life easier, whilst still allowing me to complete my research.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Andrew Sinclair

Looking at the server response in the FOI response I think there's a few issues here unfortunately:
1. The wellington.trafford.sch.uk server does not recognise the mailbox configured at the WDTK end. May just be that the authority needs to update their FOI email?
2. The amount of detail made public isn't necessarily of concern - I could illicit the same information by sending an email to madeupmailbox@wellington.trafford.sch.uk, but it does disclose information about WDTK infrastructure. I think it should probably be parsed at the WDTK end, so that if the mail response code is anything other than "success", an error is raised and reported to WDTK

This would allow notification of outdated or invalid authority contact details
