Dear Mr Faghurudeen,

Thank you for your email. The handling of passport applications outside
of the UK is a matter for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). In
line with standard international practice, the Identity and Passport
Service (IPS) issues passports only to people who are present in the UK.
Therefore, we will advise you to contact the FCO regarding any
application you may have made abroad.

Dear Mr Faghurundeen

Thank you for your email. You have omitted your original email from the chain below to IPS, so it is unclear what you require. If you wish to submit a Freedom of Information (FOI) request then please clarify what documents you are seeking under the Act. If this query re a passport application then you will need to contact the nearest British consulate.

Yours sincerely
