Dear Mr Lehmann,

RE: 21353 - Council Vehicle Fleet Vehicles

I am writing in response to your request dated 17 January 2020.  This has
been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Council’s response to your specific questions is set out below:

1. A list of vehicles owned or leased to the council. Please include;
registration mark, fleet number (if used), make & model and body type.

Answer: Please see the attached list for details of make and model/body
type and whether owned or leased. Registration and fleet numbers have been
withheld due to concerns over cloning of registrations and fleet numbers
to imitate genuine council vehicles. This is outlined in more detail in
the attached refusal notice.

2. Identify which vehicles are owned and which are leased.

Answer: Please see the attached list.

3. Name, position and email address of the staff responsible for these
vehicles.

Answer: Will Acornley, Head of Operational Services
[1][email address]

4. The estimated amount of spend (£) on diesel/petrol per annum and the
cost split between owned and leased vehicles.

Answer: the estimated per annum figure for both diesel and petrol together
is £1,789k. Please note that we are not able to split between owned and
leased vehicles as we do not make this distinction in our expenditure
data.

Advice and Assistance : Direct Marketing

If you are a company that intends to use the names and contact details of
council officers (or other officers) provided in this response for direct
marketing, you need to be registered with the Information Commissioner to
process personal data for this purpose.  You must also check that the
individual (whom you wish to contact for direct marketing purposes) is not
registered with one of the Preference Services to prevent Direct
Marketing.  If they are you must adhere to this preference. You must also
ensure you comply with the Privacy Electronic and Communications
Regulations (PECR).  For more information follow this link
[2]www.ico.org.uk

For the avoidance of doubt the provision of council (and other) officer
names and contact details under FOI does not give consent to receive
direct marketing via any media and expressly does not constitute a ‘soft
opt-in’ under PECR.

If you are not content with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review.  Requests for internal reviews should
be submitted within 2 months of the date of receipt of the response to
your original request and should be addressed to the Monitoring Officer,
1^st Floor, Civic Centre 3, Market Street, Huddersfield HD1 2EY.
Alternatively, you can send an email to:
[3][email address]

Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

If you are not content with the outcome of any review you have the right
under section 50 of the 2000 Act to apply to the Information Commissioner
for a decision as to whether your request for information has been dealt
with in accordance with the requirements of the Act.  The Information
Commissioner’s website is at [4]www.ico.org.uk and gives more information
about the role and duties of the Commissioner.  The Information
Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner’s Office,
