Dear Ms Hopkins,

Apologies, I had no idea there would be such a lot of information. I assume the bulk is the 'other' sites with water problems - which I really only wanted for context as I had no idea how common a problem this was.

If I limit my request to information on the Kingspark site, does that help?

Yours sincerely,
Stephen Cragg

Good Afternoon Margaret,

What I am really looking for is any information or correspondence that Scottish Water has had with Dundee City Council, SEPA or anyone else (e.g. a developer) regarding water, drainage & flooding on the Kingspark Site on Gillburn Road, Dundee.

This is currently subject to a planning application:
17/00765/FULM | Proposed residential development | Site Of Former Kingspark School Gillburn Road Dundee
and Kirkton Community and Safety Partnership is a statutory consultee. We have grave concerns about the information being provided. Both Developer & local authority planners insisted there was no flood risk, but following one of our members submission of photos and details of culverts & flood risk, SEPA objected.

SEPA has now withdrawn that objection as a sewer is to be run the length of the site. They say the risk now is surface water & that is your department. We have raised a query about this with the relevant department at SW and are awaiting a response.
Just to let you know - this is what they are referring to as 'surface water:
After a dry-ish week - 1.6cm rainfall:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pE7Wgak3...

After some of the snow melted yesterday (equiv. to 4cm rainfall):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHwBP4mn...

Any information would be welcomed - ideally from when Kingspark school was based there. If that is too much information, then the last 10 years. Again, if that is too much, the last 5 years.

Hopefully this clarifies what we are looking for,

Regards,
Stephen
