Request for copy of PGD regarding

The request was successful.

Dear West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,

It is my understanding that WMAS has a patient group directive (PGD) which allows certain members of Paramedic Staff (possibly critical care paramedics) to administer the drug.

I am politely requesting a copy of the PGD for use in my dissertation and literature review, references will be included should the PGD be utilised for any part of my academic work .

Furthermore, I believe the document is accessible under the title "PGD suite for Procedural Sedation and Analgesia" on the WMAS Staff intranet.

Yours faithfully,
G Duffin

Good afternoon Mr Duffin

All of our PGDs are published on our website by using the following link;

https://wmas.nhs.uk/about-wmas/organisat...

About half way down the page, there is a hyperlink to "Policies, Procedures & Strategies" - if you click on this, it will redirect you as a guest to our One Drive section where all the policies, procedures and strategies are located. If you click on the folder, "Clinical" then "Medicines Management" you will see all of our PGDS and other associated documents (including the one you require).

Should you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards
