Dear West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,

As part of my final year of my degree qualification; I will be looking into the effects, safety and efficacy of low dose ketamine as a analgesic. It is my understanding that WMAS has a patient group directive (PGD) which allows certain members of Paramedic Staff to administer the drug. I would politely request a copy of the PGD for use in my dissertation and literature review, references will be included should the PGD be utilised for any part of my academic work .

Yours faithfully,

George Duffin

Good afternoon

We do not have a PGD for ketamine as standard paramedics do not administer this drug and therefore do not require one.

Kind Regards
