Dear Liverpool City Council,

Paramount Stewarding & Security Ltd
1/Please supply the daily cost for the paramount stewards to stand next to the traffic lights on Scotland rd. to press the stop button for a number of John Moores students to cross the road on the 22nd September 2020.

2/ Does John Moores University contribute to the cost of this or is it paid by the council?

3/ If so, it is the rates payers that is paying for Paramount stewards and why?

4/ Why has Liverpool Echo reporter (Liam Thorp) not passed on this request to the Mayor when he knew the vast amount £456,000 being spent in (Scotland rd) on these Paramount stewards?

5/ Please supply all the full payments per day it is costing the ‘City of Liverpool’ to employ these stewards on this site on Scotland rd.

Dear Mr Thomas

 

Further to our response of 12 October and for purposes of clarity, we
would confirm Paramount Stewards were removed from this site in March
2020. Stewards from Carlisle Security subsequently undertook this role.
Figures quoted within our response remain applicable for the period to
which your request relates in respect of both third party contractors.

 

We would therefore confirm Paramount Stewarding are no longer working at
this location, as indicated above.
