Dear Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Report'.

It is very disturbing to hear that your local authority does not have a copy of it published, when the report concerns the death of a child who was known to the authority.

Have all relevant archives been searched? Have any further been attempted to obtain a copy from another source and provide it electronically?

Please review my request.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/r...

Yours faithfully,

Polly Burns

Internal review request
Our reference: 861290
Dear Ms. Burns
Thank you for your request for an internal review, received 08 January
2016. We are sorry that you are dissatisfied with H&F’s attempts to handle
your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The Information Commissioner’s Office allows a time-limit of 20-40 working
days to investigate and provide a full response. We plan to complete this
task within 20 working days and therefore calculate that a full response
will be provided to you by 05 February 2016.

If we need to extend the deadline to the full 40 working days, we will
contact you to inform you of this extension.

Yours sincerely,

Anthea Ferguson
Senior Information Management Officer

Dear Ms. Burns

We write regarding your request for an internal review, received 08
January 2016.

As was explained in our acknowledgement of your request, the Information
Commissioner’s Office (ICO) recommend a time-limit of 20-40 working days
to investigate and provide a full response.

Unfortunately, due to capacity issues within the Information Management
Team as a result of a vacancy within the team that has only recently been
filled and an increase in statutory workload, we were not able to complete
the review within the 20 working day deadline of today, 05 February
2016. We therefore need to extend this deadline to the full 40 working
days and calculate the revised deadline for completion to be 04 March
2016.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Yours sincerely

Anthea Ferguson

Senior Information Management Officer
