Dear Mr Davies,

Thank you for the paperwork you sent me by Royal Mail which I am studying. I did originally ask for information going back to 31/10/2002 but I have only received emails from March 2014 (some of which do copy/quote earlier ones from 2013. Can you please send me earlier information including for example Network Rail's first formal notification to you that they were replacing the bridge. I reiterate that I want copies of minutes, letters, notes of meetings etc not solely emails.

Secondly you state that some information
requested is on RBWM’s website - what information and where do I need to look on your website ?

Yours sincerely

John Walsby

Dear Mr Walsby,

I have been asked by our Information Management Team to respond to your query directly.

Please find attached some emails which may not have shown up in the initial search, because Network Rail incorrectly referred to the bridge as 'Highfield Road' or 'Highfield Rd' rather than 'Highfield Lane'. I apologise for the oversight, but I have only just noticed Network Rail's mistake.

Looking back through the diary, our first meeting with Network Rail was on 21 August. This was a quick site visit, which involved driving Mr Blake around the various bridges that were affected in the borough - as such, there are no formal notes / minutes from the meeting.

All other meeting notes are recorded in the emails that you have received. We have not received any formal letters from Network Rail. We have not had any other dealings with this Highfield Lane bridge project prior to this date.

To the best of my knowledge, you should now have everything relating to this FOI query.

Regards,

Gordon Oliver
