Dear Sir

I refer to your recent Freedom of Information request – ref FOIA2800
relating to "Removal of Honorary Alderman Status".

I wish to advise you that your request has been de-registered and is,
therefore, no longer being treated as an Freedom of Information Request.

In accordance with the provisions of the Act, the real name of the
applicant is required (your full name has not been provided in this case),
and that to fulfil this we require details as per ICO guidance as follows:

Quote from ICO guidance – “Therefore, title and/or first name with surname
satisfies the requirement for provision of a real name, as does the use by
a female applicant of her maiden name. The prime consideration is whether
enough of a person’s full name has been provided to give a reasonable
indication of that person’s identity."

If you wish to re-submit your request, providing your full name, then the
Council process this in accordance with the requirements of the Act.

Yours faithfully
