Social Policy Branch, Registration of Clubs and alcohol licencing section

The Department Of Justice has advised that the information requested below is held by the Social Policy Branch within the Department For Communities.

Under the Freedom Of Information Act please provide answers to the following questions in relation to the Registration of Clubs, as required by the Registration of Clubs Act, operating on the Paisley Park Sports Complex, West Circular Road Belfast from 1993 to date.

1) Please confirm the initial date of Club Registration and approval of a Registered Club Licence for the sale of Alcohol within the premises used as Clubrooms in respect of;
a. Albert Foundry Bowling Club
b. Albert Foundry Boxing Club
c. Albert Foundry Football Club
d. Any other club on the Registered Club register operating within premises located on the Paisley Park Sports Complex, West Circular Road Belfast, please provide name of any other Registered Clubs issued with a licence and/or permit issued since 1993 (or from date information available).

2) Please confirm the annual renewal date for each Registered Club issued with a licence to sell alcohol within clubrooms on the Paisley Park Sports Complex, West Circular Road, Belfast.

3) Please confirm initial registration and yearly renewal date for each permit/licence issued to Registered Clubs for operation of gaming machines within the premises used as Clubrooms by;
a. Albert Foundry Bowling Club
b. Albert Foundry Boxing Club
c. Albert Foundry Football Club
d. Any other named club provided with a licence or hold a permit for providing gambling machines within premises on the Paisley Park Sports Complex, West Circular Road, Belfast.

4) Please confirm initial registration and yearly renewal date for each permit/licence issued to Registered Clubs for the provision of entertainment within the premises used as Clubrooms by;
a. Albert Foundry Bowling Club
b. Albert Foundry Boxing Club
c. Albert Foundry Football Club
d. Any other named club provided with a licence or hold a permit for gambling machines within premises on the Paisley Park Sports Complex, West Circular Road, Belfast.

A Freedom Of Information request was delivered to the Department requesting a reply from the Social Policy Branch in relation to Registration of Clubs. To date there has been no response acknowledging receipt and confirming the Social Policy Branch will comply with the Freedom Of Information Act to provide answers within 20 working days. Please confirm that the Departments Social Policy Branch will comply and issue a response by 4th October as required by legislation.
