Referrals to The National Centre for Domestic Violence

South Yorkshire Police did not have the information requested.

Dear South Yorkshire Police,

I make this request under the Freedom of Information Act.

In a recent BBC news article, The National Centre for Domestic Violence stated that they have received 78,356 referrals from police & specialist services.

It is evident from the NCDV web-site that South Yorkshire Police has made referrals to NCDV.

Please could you confirm the following:

1. The number of females referred to NCDV in 2015 by South Yorkshire Police
2. The number of males referred to NCDV in 2015 by South Yorkshire Police
3. The number of females referred to NCDV in 2016 by South Yorkshire Police
4. The number of males referred to NCDV in 2016 by South Yorkshire Police
5. The number of females referred to NCDV in 2017 by South Yorkshire Police
6. The number of males referred to NCDV in 2017 by South Yorkshire Police
7. The number of females referred to NCDV in 2018 up to March 31st by South Yorkshire Police
8. The number of males referred to NCDV in 2018 up to March 31st by South Yorkshire Police
