Dear Nursing and Midwifery Council,

Thank you for your response to my FOI request
I was surprised to hear that you can not provide this information
On the 21st Feb 2019 I did a similar FOI on Barchester healthcare and was provided wit this information.
Also at recent meetings with Andrea Sutcliffe and her team members we were told that the NMC were now collecting data on referral sources so that as part of the work under the new strategy they could gather intelligence. This would include being able to escalate if one particular referrer had high number of referrals so as to potentially address any issues around contextual / institutional contributors to poor patient care

Please could you look at this again and see if this request can be reassessed

Yours faithfully,

Cathryn Watters
