Dear P. Bladon,

Thank you for your recent Information request. I can now offer you the
following information:

1. How much did Redditch Borough Council pay SMG to produce this report? I
can confirm that we hold the information you requested, however we are
withholding that information since we consider that the exemption under
Section 43(2) Commercial Interests, apply to it.  The following points
were considered under the public interest test:

§  Resultant commercial prejudice (increased costs and possible legal
action).

§  Disclosing information about the authorities transaction with one third
party, may prejudice subsequent negotiations with another third party.

§  Disclosure may reduce the authorities ability to negotiate or compete
in a commercial environment.

In all circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

2.Please provide a copy of the results, including all the comments from
that online survey.  Please see attached.  Part of the dataset has an
exemption applied it under section 40(2)(a), personal information.  This
is an absolute exemption therefore the public interest test does not
apply.

I hope this resolves your enquiry and that you are satisfied with the
response.

However, if you are dissatisfied with the way your request has been
handled, you have the right to request an internal review within 40 days
of the date of our response.

If you are still dissatisfied following a review by the Council, you have
the right to complain to the Information Commissioner. You can contact the
Information Commissioner at:
