Red Arrows Standard Operating Procedures

The request was successful.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would be very grateful if you could send me the latest edition of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team (RAFAT) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Display Directive.

I am requesting this information directly as my rather wide-ranging search to find such a document has proven unsuccessful. Therefore, I find that my request needn't be denied as according to Section 21 of the FOIA 2000. This is because the information was not reasonably available to me through other means.

Section 26(1)(b) of the FOIA 2000 states I cannot access information prejudicial to the capability, effectiveness or security of relevant forces. I believe that access to the RAFAT SOPs will not detriment any of the above.

I fully understand that the information, if presented to me, shall only be used for personal use and cannot be used for monetary gain. I also understand the information will still stand under Crown Copyright and I am entitled to use it in a personal, private manner under exception of the CDPA 1988.

I can accept this information in any electronic method or physical representation - whichever is the easiest and most cost-effective for the RAF.

Thank you for reading this FOIA request and I trust that you will look upon it in good faith. If there are any questions or queries regarding this request, feel free to contact me directly.

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Broadbent
