Recycling Data

The request was successful.

Dear Three Rivers District Council,

I would like to request some data relating to recycled material from the council:

• What happens to the recycling once it is collected – where is it sorted, bundled and recycled.
• What percentage is recycled in the UK?
• What percentage is sent abroad to be recycled?
• If any is sent abroad, where is it sent?
• Does the council make any income from the sale of recycling? – If so how much?
• Does any income ever eclipse the money spent on collecting the recycling in the first place.

Yours faithfully,

Phillip Smith
