Dear Department for Education,

Social Work England has recently undertaken recruitment exercise for panel member roles.

Can you please answer the following :

1. Why was Gatensby Sanders selected for this role.

2. What was the marking criteria for applications (please provide a copy).

3. Were the forms subject to anonymous marking i.e removing details of name, ethnicity and other protected characteristics (please provide a copy).

4. What was the number of BME candidates.

5. How many BME candidates were not put forward to interview compared to those sent to interview.

6. The data should be held in a readily available format to ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010. If it is not please explain i) Why ? ii) What equality Act considerations were made in awarding the contract to Gatensby Sanders.
