Reid Sierra, Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner

Dear Mr McEvoy,

Thank you for your email to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC), however it may assist you to know that the PCC is an independent body separate from Thames Valley Police (TVP) and is therefore not the head of the Force. All operational policing matters and decisions, including those around the investigation and prosecution of criminal offences and the handling of complaints made against TVP, are the responsibility of the Chief Constable of TVP who, in law, is operationally independent of the PCC. As such, we do not hold the information you have requested.

The tweet you have provided below is from TVP, and the OPCC have no knowledge of this campaign, therefore you may wish to submit an FOI request directly to TVP who can be contacted via the TVP website www.thamesvalley.police.uk or by emailing [email address].

Kind Regards,
Sierra Reid
