Rebate Scheme
Dear NHS Health Scotland,
Please can you provide me with the following information under the
Freedom of Information Act 2000:-
The most up to date list you can obtain (please provide the date of the data) with;
(a) A list of all the medicines for which you have signed up to a rebate scheme since 2015.
(b) The date the above mentioned rebate agreements were first signed and when they are due to expire, or if they are continuous agreements please state.
(c) The job role of the person who has been responsible for signing the above rebate agreements.

Information Request – Rebate Scheme
I am writing with regard to your Freedom of Information request on 16 January 2019 that was received by NHS Health Scotland the next/same day, in which you ask for the following:
“(a) A list of all the medicines for which you have signed up to a rebate scheme since 2015.
(b) The date the above mentioned rebate agreements were first signed and when they are due to expire, or if they are continuous agreements please state.
(c) The job role of the person who has been responsible for signing the above rebate agreements.”
Under Section 17(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information Act (Scotland) 2002, NHS Health Scotland can confirm that we do not hold the requested information. Although NHS Health Scotland is a part of the NHS in Scotland, we do not provide health services directly to the public and we have no role in monitoring or providing the information that you are looking for. Our role is to work with a range of organisations including other NHS Boards, local government, the third sector and employers to help them use knowledge about what works to improve the health of people in Scotland. Therefore you may wish to redirect your request to the 14 Local Health Boards responsible for patient care and treatment.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with our response, you do have the right to ask the Chief Executive to review our response. You should do this within 40 working days of receipt of this letter and in a recordable format (letter, email, audio tape etc). The Chief Executive will consider your query, consulting with others as necessary, and will respond to you within 20 working days.
