1 can you please provide the number of personnel currently employed by Scottish fire and rescue who have retired from operational duties in any of the previous 8 fire services and been re-employed in some other capacity ie, receiving both a pension and a salary from the fire service and can you provide a list of the positions/post/type of employment they now undertake with in Scottish fire and rescue
2 how many operational personnel have retired since the inception of the Scottish Fire and Rescue service have been re-employed in any non-operational capacity and can you provide a list of the positions/post/type of employment they now undertake with in Scottish fire and rescue
3 can you provide the numbers of operational personnel employed by the 8 services prior to the amalgamation and how many people were in each rank/role
4 can you provide the numbers of operational personnel now employed by the Scottish fire and rescue service and how many people are in each rank/role

thank you for the information, however it barely answers any of the questions asked.
if you don't keep records of the information i asked for then perhaps its time you started keeping them. i think the public have a right to know how the pubic purse is being spent and if people are getting "retirement packages" that allow personnel to retire on full pension from a uniformed post to reappear a month later wearing a suit and taking a healthy salary hence moving an operation post to non-operational post.
this situation as described above creates job stagnation, prevents employment of younger persons and inhibits personal advancement and promotion through the ranks.
