Rationale of major circuit funding
Dear Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from the department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
I would like to get information as to the rationale of why only major motorsport circuits were allocated £6 million in the sport winter survival package.
Also could you provide information of how the £6 million allocation for motorsport is being divided between the organisation/ owners of the major circuits.
If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
Yours faithfully,
Louis Edwards
